As a CAM, you will need to understand the basic concepts of marketing and how to apply them to ensure that your property reaches its potential. This module emphasizes creating the components of an effective Marketing Plan, understanding and using SWOT methodology and measuring and evaluating marketing success.

To obtain the CAM credential, candidates must complete the following:


  • Minimum of 12 months of onsite property management experience (This can be obtained while taking the course; you will receive a provisional certificate until this requirement is met.)
  • Successful completion of all CAM coursework (totaling 40 hours)
  • Meet all examination standards within 12 months of declaring candidacy
